| Dear Partners,
When we sat down last year to present our product offering for 2021, we did so with hopes that life would begin to show some signs of normalcy. While that did happen for a bit, I think it’s safe to say the lasting effects of the pandemic are still being felt by a great many. We have learned to pivot quickly when new challenges arise, so that we can minimize the impact it has on our valued partners. While we may not be able to predict what future challenges will arise, you can be certain that we will do everything within our power to continue to provide the same high-quality products and services you have come to expect from Maidstone.
Supply chains are still being heavily impacted not only at the factory level with rising costs of raw materials and labor shortages, but also from a transit perspective. Our sourcing and warehousing teams are working tirelessly to not only look for great new affordable products, but alternative ways to get these products to market in a timely fashion. In addition to inventory expansion, we will also be expanding our footprint into new distribution centers to reduce time in transit to more distant markets.
As a sales manager I value my time in the field more than anything. Being able to meet with our partners both at the showroom and representation level are a vital part of Maidstone’s success. While I was able to meet with a good many of you throughout 2021, I will be looking forward to meeting even more of you in 2022. I’ve touched on a few highlights, but you’ll want to spend some time with the new book when you have a moment. I hope this guide helps to outline some of the major changes we have made for 2022.
